According to party think tank, Naidu has an uphill task ahead of him once he takes oath on June 2 or 3. They said Naidu had told them that the farmers had decided to trust the TDP this time and had voted them to power as they had promised to waive off their loan. Hence Naidu had to decide to append his first signature on the file pertaining to loan waiver. Since the residual government does not yet know what exactly would be the financial deficit and revenue generation, it would first announce re-scheduling of loans for a period of five to six years and work out the nitty-gritty soon in consultation with the Centre.

The party insiders said that Naidu during internal discussions told them that Modi had committed to help the new Government and since both have commitment, the promise can be fulfilled. They said Naidu is known to keep up his promise. Modi during his election speeches had made several promises including some for the fishermen community who are in large numbers in coastal belt and the TDP government would address all those issues in the first budget it would introduce soon.

Asked about TDP joining the NDA government, they said this time TDP was inclined to join the NDA Government so that development in Andhra Pradesh can be put on fast track. They also do not rule out the possibility of giving some berths to BJP in the state Assembly.

On Jagan comments that TDP had won because of false promises made by Naidu, the party leaders said that they needed not to answer all such comments. They exuded confidence the relationship between the two Telugu-speaking states-- Telangana and Andhra Pradesh--would be cordial and that both States would compete in development. It is time for leaders and people of both the regions to put all the bad blood that was generated during the agitation and move forward, they added.

Quoting Naidu, party senior leader Y Ramakrishnudu told The Hans India that TDP now has dual responsibility--one to develop the residual state and second to see that the party bounces back to power in T state by 2019. On more creating more districts in Andhra Pradesh, the former finance minister said this issue needs in-depth study. Administrative cost should not increase, he added. According to L Ramana, TDP in Telangana would cooperate with the new government led by KCR in development but would stand by people in case it the government failed to implement its promises and would fight on their behalf.
