Jagan elected YSRCLP leader
Kadapa: YSR Congress Party President Jagan Elected YSRCLP Leader, The party legislators on Wednesday unanimously elected party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy as the leader of the party in the Assembly.

Kadapa: The YSR Congress Party which will be the main opposition party in the Andhra Pradesh Assembly is gearing up to play the role of an “effective” opposition party. The party legislators on Wednesday unanimously elected party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy as the leader of the party in the Assembly. Soon after his election, Jagan thanked the MLAs for reposing faith in him and tried to instill confidence among the party rank and file, saying that the day was not far off when the people would lose faith in TDP and would look towards YSRCP.
He said the TDP had come to power through politics of conspiracy and deceit. He said his heart did not permit him to make false promises like Naidu. The meeting passed a resolution, paying tributes to Shobha Nagi Reddy who died in a road accident just before the polling date. Prior to the meeting, Jagan and his mother Y S Vijayalakshmi paid homage to Y S Rajasekhara Reddy at his samadhi.
