Act like a statesman, Naidu tells KCR

Hyderabad: TDP president and CM-designate N Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday called upon the Telangana CM designate K Chandrasekhar Rao to exhibit statesman-like qualities and compete with the residuary state of Andhra Pradesh in development.

Reacting to the statements made by Rao in the past few days over the distribution of government employees, Naidu said that Rao should realise that he is no more a leader who is spearheading an agitation. He is now set to become the Chief Minister and hence he should not do anything that would affect the brand image of Hyderabad.

Speaking to media, before leaving for Delhi Naidu said, that he was surprised to see statements by KCR and reports in media that TRS had set up a war room.

He said normally 'war rooms' would be set up to devise military strategies before waging a war against the enemies. “What is the need to set up a war room at the TRS headquarters? Against whom are they planning to wage a war? People of Seemandhra and Telangana need peace at this critical juncture not war or war room,” he said.
