Hyderabad: Naidu to Take Oath on June 8Hyderabad: TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu will take oath as Chief Minister of residuary Andhra Pradesh on June 8, exactly a week after the formation of Telangana State. According to Naidu’s chief astrologer P Srinivasa Gargeya, several issues like the time and date of formation of two States, Naidu’s birth star and other aspects were taken into consideration before finalising the date and time for coronation.

He said that the auspicious time for Naidu to take oath as the CM of Seemandhra would begin in the afternoon of June 8 and continue for next 24 hours. According to sources, Naidu is likely to take oath somewhere on the stretch between Vijayawada and Guntur, where the party had organised Yuva Garjana in 2009. TDP leader J R Pushparaj said that the oath-taking ceremony would be on a grand scale. Meanwhile, it is learnt that Naidu is contemplating to hold the meeting of the TDP legislature party at Tirupati on June 7, a day ahead of his coronation. Naidu would be formally elected as the leader of the legislature party at the TDPLP meeting. With the announcement of oath taking ceremony, party leaders have now intensified their lobbying for berth in the first cabinet of the residual state. Naidu is likely to give clarity on the issue after the Mahanadu is over.
