Hyderabad: Telangana remained closed on Thursday stooping to the call given by KCR, the TRS Party Chief, against the issue of ordinance that paves a way for the inclusion of 7 mandals of Bhadrachalam division in Seemandhra. The TRS leaders have sit-in in front of the bus depots and not allowed even a single bus moved out of the bus depots. The bundh has been supported by various societies, apart from the TRS party.

  • Due to this Bundh, buses leaving for districts from MGBS remained stationary at the MGBS. Most of the passengers have been facing problems due to this. Even the city buses got hampered.
  • At Sanga Reddy Bus Depot, the TRS leaders reached early in the morning and not allowed even a single bus to go out from the depot. Chinta Prabhakar, the TRS MLA, addressed the media and demanded for the design change of Polavaram project.
  • As many as 700 buses have been confined to 9 depots in Mahabubnagar district. TRS leaders reached Kalvakurthi bus depot early on Thursday and not allowed the buses to come out from the depot.
  • In front of the bus depot of Khammam, TRS, CPI and CPM leaders protested and not allowed any bus to move out from the depots. They demanded for the design change of Polavaram so that the flood affected areas would remain in Telangana.
