Hyderabad: Rain Brings Down Mercury, Rainfall lashed several parts of the city causing inconvenience to people during afternoon and in the evening on Thursday.
Hyderabad: Rainfall lashed several parts of the city causing inconvenience to people during afternoon and in the evening on Thursday. Some of the busy roads faced inundation, within few minutes. In the afternoon, the surrounding areas of Ameerpet and Khairatabad witnessed rainfall, which caught unawares of many motorists on a usually sunny day. Banjara Hills, Somajiguda and Secretariat too saw rainfall.
Those travelling on two-wheelers had a tough time negotiating the roads in some places, which were completely inundated. The surrounding areas of Secunderabad, including AS Rao Nagar, witnessed rainfall during the evening. While it caused some inconvenience to the people on the roads, the ones who experienced soaring temperatures for the last few days felt relieved as the mercury levels dipped on the day.
