Kishan Reddy’s political career in a crisis?

Kishan Reddy is one of the few leaders who attained significance in Bharatiya Janata Party, within a very short span of time. He attained the position of the party’s state president as well. He strongly believed that BJP could make its firm grip in Telangana as soon as the state would be carved. Nevertheless, the elections that followed the announcement of Telangana state have changed the entire equations and the party High Command went against the interests and suggestions of Kishan Reddy by tying up an alliance with Telugu Desam Party.

The Party seniors from the state reportedly opine that Kishan Reddy haven’t consider their views during the campaigning for elections and also neglected them. Also, reportedly, they believe that it was due to the alliance with TDP that BJP could able to get at least a few seats. All these reasons have been distancing Kishan Reddy from other leaders of the same party. Also, news made round that Kishan Reddy was an aspirant to contest from Secunderabad Lok Sabha constituency. Nevertheless, the same was allotted to Bandaru Dattatrya who in turn got a grand victory in the polls. The palpable differences between Kishan Reddy and Bandaru Dattatreya were seen during the campaigning itself. No photo of Kishan Reddy was seen on the chariot of the BJP. Conversely, the image of Chandrababu Naidu was present on the same chariot used for the campaigning of Bandaru Dattatreya.

All these developments speak for sure one thing that Kishan Reddy’s political future is tarnishing at the same speed that has fetched him so much of prominence in the party.
