Nalgonda: Secretary to Governor E S L Narasimhan, Basanth Kumar, sustained minor injuries on Wednesday in a road accident involving his car near Narketpalli, on the National Highway 65. The incident happened when he was coming from Vijayawada to Hyderabad, along with family members.
The vehicle fell upside down after the driver lost control following puncture to a tyre. This resulted in injuries to Basanth Kumar, who was shifted to the Kamineni Hospital at Narketpalli. The Governor visited the hospital to call on his secretary and elicited information about the accident. Nalgonda Collector Chiranjeevulu and Superintendent of Police Prabhakar Rao were among those present.
