Macherla-Bhimavaram Passenger train catches fire

Guntur: Early on Saturday, all of sudden fire broke out from the engine of Macherla-Bhimavaram passenger train. The attentive railway staff halted the train at Gudipudi of Sattenappali mandal in Guntur district. There was neither any loss of property nor the lives of the passengers reported in this incident. In general, the AC bogies and engines catch fire in case of accidents. Nobody is aware of the outside happenings. The reports submitted by the experts after the investigations are simply gathering dust in the record rooms. No preventive action has been taken, as a lesson learnt from the previous accidents.
