Visakhapatnam: On Monday, at SMS-2 division of Visakha Steel Plant, two engineers died in a tragic incident. The engineers were in the regular process of checking the material inside a lab container.
It is learnt that the Carbon Monoxide (CO) gas was released all of sudden and the deceased could not have a proper breath, leaving for their ultimate death. The deceased have been identified as Anuj (30) and Rajnish (35).
While Anuj hails originally from Chennai, Rajnish hails from Uttar Pradesh, added sources. At the location of their death fire also broke out. The rescue team has been striving for putting out the fire. More details are awaited.
