Chandrababu Naidu Introduces Resolution on Polavaram Project. Nara Chandrababu Naidu, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, had introduced a resolution on Polavaram project in the state assembly.
Hyderabad: Nara Chandrababu Naidu, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, had introduced a resolution on Polavaram project in the state assembly. He addressed the house on Tuesday and urged the Centre to recognise Polavaram as the national project and also demanded for the passing of an act that would include all the 7 mandals of caved areas under Polavaram in Andhra Pradesh.

Naidu said that the construction of the project would be done in accordance to the design already approved by the authorities. Further, he said that this project would get water for irrigation in Andhra Pradesh, apart from getting drinking water for as many as 5 districts. He said that there would be no loss to Telangana with this project. He urged the centre to initiate the construction of the project, immediately.
