Visakhapatnam: The monks have become the focal point for their sensational comments, which ultimately hurt the feelings of a group of people. Most recently the comments over Sai Baba by a monk have created a commotion. Even before the same has not become stale, Swami Swaroopanandendra Saraswathi has allegedly said that ever since Chandrababu Naidu has sworn-in as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, there were no rains in the state. He also said that on the very day of Naidu’s swearing-in ceremony five people were killed and also so many people have been dying every day soon after he had assumed the chair.

Swami was addressing the devotees at Sri Shirdi Sai Baba temple at Gajuwaka in Visakhapatnam. He said that swearing-in ceremony should not be undertaken after the sunset while stating that it was not good for the politics. He reminded of previous instances wherein the politicians have experienced terrible results bowing to the undertaking swearing-in after the sunset.

Adding fuel to the fire, from the other end, at a different occasion, BV Ragavulu, the CPM Politburo member, has also said that people started believing strongly that previously drought was occurred during Chandrababu’s regime when the state was united; and the same situation recurring after he taken over the helm of Andhra Pradesh.
