Hyderabad: After the revelation the number of suicides that went in the United Andhra Pradesh, now the statistics for the flesh trade has also been disclosed by the National Crime Record Bureau. According to the statistical data, erstwhile Andhra Pradesh was ranked high even in this case with the second place in the highest number of prostitution cases in the country.

A share of 20% was held by the erstwhile Andhra Pradesh as far as the immoral trafficking cases reported in India in 2013 revealed by NCRB were considered. Astoundingly, it is the neighbouring state of Tamil Nadu that has topped the list of states with the maximum number of prostitution cases.

More in the addition, the data also disclosed that flesh trade boomed in Hyderabad, Cyberabad, Vijayawada, and Visakhapatnam with an upsetting number of cases booked under the Immoral Traffic Prevention Act. Of the total of 2,541 brothel cases booked in India, as many as 489 cases were booked in erstwhile Andhra Pradesh alone. Tamil Nadu state as mentioned previously has topped with 549 cases.

The police in the state have been vigilant on the matter of illegal trafficking. Despite this is a fact that state police of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana have been very alert, there were many cases of illegal sex trafficking. The recent busting of sex rackets in the city gives us the evidence. That is not the end - most of the junior actors who were otherwise not getting pleasing roles in the movie have been deliberately dragged in to the flesh trade by the mediators, reportedly.
