Chiranjeevi Faces Political Humiliation Yet Again!!. Chiranjeevi, a prominent protagonist of Tollywood movies and a Rajya Sabha Member of Congress Party from Andhra Pradesh, faced yet another humiliation in the Upper House on Monday.
Hyderabad: Chiranjeevi, a prominent protagonist of Tollywood movies and a Rajya Sabha Member of Congress Party from Andhra Pradesh, faced yet another humiliation in the Upper House on Monday. Chiranjeevi was allotted with 3 minutes time to speak on the Polavaram issue. However, he went on reading the script he had it in his hand for more than 7 minutes. Kurian, the deputy chairman of the Upper House, went on urging him to conclude but to no avail. It was then Kurian got irritated and said that he was reading a speech someone has written it for him while making it a mention that it was not the way to do the things in the house.

The confused leader Chiranjeevi looked embarrassed for a moment and straight away concluded his speech by thanking the Chair and the other members of the house.
It is worth mentioning here that this was Chiranjeevi’s first speech in the Parliament after the defeat of UPA in the recent elections. He has steered the party to its biggest ever defeat in Andhra Pradesh. Also, this is the first time in Andhra Pradesh’s history that no elected representative is present in the state assembly. Also, there are no elected MPs in the Lok Sabha representing the state.
