New Delhi: Chiranjeevi, prominent Tollywood actor and a Congress Party Rajya Sabha Member, on Tuesday said that they have served everything ready for the Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu in a golden plate. He viewed passing of the Polavaram Bill by the Parliament as the victory of agrarian communities. He expressed his joy and said that the dream of the myriad that has been pending since many years has finally come true. He said it was not fair for the Telangana state parties to oppose the bill. He said that the bill was passed with the approval of the majority of the parties.

Chiranjeevi urged the Andhra Pradesh government to take up the matter of rehabilitation of the affected people without any sort of delay. He thanked Sonia Gandhi, Manmohan Singh and Jairam Ramesh for ensuring the inclusion of the responsibility of rehabilitation of the affected in the bill. Those who are getting affected with the Polavaram Project need to not worry, added Chiranjeevi. He said that all their concerns will be addressed to, for the bill ensures everything and gives them a legal authority as well. He said the tribal people are now part of Andhra Pradesh and hence he would ensure that justice will be done to them.

Chiranjeevi said that he fought strongly for the Polavaram project when he floated his new party Praja Rajyam. Also, he said that one of his conditions before merging the party in Congress was about the Polavaram project. He said before he intervened in Polavaram Project, it was just a desire of the people; and mentioned that it was he who gave it the political form. Further, he said that he would also strive for getting the national status for the Pranahitha Chevella project.
