Looks like saturday is a day of meetings. After Venkaiah Naidu met the heads of both the Telugu states, Hyderabad had another high profile visitor.
We already told you that president Pranab Mukherjee was visiting the city. To greet the president, the chief ministers of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana rushed to the Begumpet Airport. According to the eye-wtinesses gathered there, both KCR and Chandrababu Naidu had a face-to-face meeting which is a first since Telangana got a separate statehood status. It is learnt that the AP CM was the first to break the ice by giving a pat on KCR's back following which the duo exchanged pleasantries.
Venakaiah Naidu told the media after meeting the duo that he had suggested that the two states sort out differences amicably. Now, with the two patching up can we hope that they have taken the suggestion seriously?
