Nellore Tragedy: little girl found dead in bore-well

Four-year-old Sasirekha, daughter of Lakshminarasayya and Lakshmi of Kuppayapalem village, in Dakkili mandal, who had been missing for the last two days, was found dead in a bore-well in the village.
Four-year-old Sasirekha, daughter of Lakshminarasayya and Lakshmi of Kuppayapalem village, in Dakkili mandal, who had been missing for the last two days, was found dead in a bore-well in the village. The girl’s body was retrieved by using a 34-foot rope.
Sasirekha’s parents have lodged a police complaint. Earlier, there was a rumour in the village that a woman had forcibly taken away the girl after sedating her.
Dakkili SI Jilani said a case would be registered against the owner of the land where the bore-well is located. He said digging of bore-well was taken up following suspicion that the girl might have slipped into it.
Gudur RDO Srinivas and DSP Choudeswari led the rescue operations.
