Jupudi said he had sent his resignation to the party president, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. He said that the party did not value true followers of the late YSR.
Also blaming Subba Reddy Jupudi said that it was because of Reddy he lost the elections. However, party MP Varaprasad and MLA Narayana Swamy rubbished Jupudi's claims in Nellore on Sunday. They said that every member of the party was given equal importance and requested him to reconsider his decision.
Meanwhile, political circles are abuzz with rumours that Jupudi may join Chandrababu Naidu's TDP. It now remains to be see what would be Jupudi's next move.
