Kadapa: The police on Monday arrested 10 persons and recovered two panchaloha idols from them at Chidipiralla in Kamalapuram mandal of Kadapa district.
On a tip-off, police intercepted a vehicle, recovered two idols worth Rs 14 lakh and seized the vehicle.

According to Kamalapuram SI Srinivasa Reddy, Janardhan of Railway Kondapur had two panchaloha idols in his possession. Janardhan made a deal for the sale of idols with Neelam Narendra Babu of Kamalapuram.
A police team led by SIs Narasimha Rao, Nagaiah and Srinivasa Reddy seized the idols while they were being transported in a vehicle by Narendra.Narendra and nine others were arrested in the case. Later, they were produced in court.
