Palle relishes ‘Uppu Chepa Pappu Charu’, Andhra Pradesh Information Minister Palle Raghunadha Reddy on Wednesday tasted the famous Kakinada special item, ‘Uppu Chepa Pappu Charu’ (salt fish). Reddy made women labourers who were with him to taste the dish, while participating in the ‘Polam Pilustondi’ programme in Kakinada rural mandal.
Kakinada: Andhra Pradesh Information Minister Palle Raghunadha Reddy on Wednesday tasted the famous Kakinada special item, ‘Uppu Chepa Pappu Charu’ (salt fish). Reddy made women labourers who were with him to taste the dish, while participating in the ‘Polam Pilustondi’ programme in Kakinada rural mandal.
He spent good time, while driving a bullock-cart. Kakinada MLA A Kondababu, Rural legislator Anantalakshmi, East Godavari district Collector Neetu Prasad participated in the programme along with the minister.
Anantalakshmi and Neetu Prasad also took part in the paddy transplantation activities. Local labourers were pleased to see VIPs and officials joining hands with them in farm operations.
