Hyderabad: Presentation of Budget, TDP government's white papers on different sectors, its proposed 'vision documents' for development and poll promises like farm loan waiver would be part of the agenda of Andhra Pradesh Assembly's Budget session which begins here tomorrow.

This would be the first Budget session of the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly post bifurcation. The session would begin at 9 am tomorrow, according to an official communique.

The session likely to be held for about 20 days and the Budget would be presented on August 20. The Business Advisory Committee of the Assembly would meet tomorrow morning before the commencement of the session to decide on the agenda and other issues.

Post bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu released white papers on various subjects like finances, impact of division on the residuary state, power and irrigation.

Naidu told reporters here today that his government would table 'vision documents' for development in the Assembly. Besides government business, the white papers and the vision documents are expected to figure prominently in the debate during the Assembly session.

Meanwhile, the opposition YSR Congress may seek to corner the government on the TDP's election promise of loan waiver for farmers, self-help groups among others.

With Andhra Pradesh and Telangana sharing the Legislature buildings here, the two sides held meetings last week and reached an agreement on most of the issues regarding sharing of space.

The budget sessions of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana state Legislatures are likely to be held simultaneously, at least for a few days in September when the Telangana Assembly is expected to begin its session.
