Hyderabad: “Government of Andhra Pradesh is moving forward in the path to make the budget cuts to the poor people’s welfare programmes. Nearly 43,11,688 are getting pensions in various forms, for this nearly it burdens130 crores on state treasury. Now that the pensions are going to be increased from 1000 to 1500, what about the pending 15lakh applications? ” asked , YSRCP president YS.Jagan Mohan Reddy.
“From October onwards 431 crores are required . on the other hand if 5,36,837 handicapped pensions are to beincreased to 1500 then it requires another 10 crores. In this way 441 crores per month a net amount of 3,730 is requires. For the last 5 months total of 3,730 crores is required but only 1,338 were allocated. Now what about the remaning 2,392 crores ? are going to cut them?Are you going to leave these pensioners?” asked Jagan.
“For the 1.4 crore white cards , for the the policies of “Amma hastham” and new food policies 4,671crores are necessary but only 2,318 crores are only allocated. For the year of 2013-14, under reimbursement and scholarships 2,487 crores are necessaryand there are loan upto 990 crores in the last year.and for the students studying in Hyderabad another 200 crores are required . total of 3700 crores required but only 2,100 crores are given.” He said.
“This government is looking to cheat poor people. They are cutting these welfare plocies to many people but linking them to the Adhar card. My suspicions are coming true.” He said.
