Hyderabad: The deep depression over south Chhattisgarh and its neighbourhood moved north-north-westwards, weakened into a depression and moved north-north-eastwards and lay centred at 8.30 am on Tuesday over east UP and its neighbourhood, about 80km south-west of Varanasi. It will move north-eastwards and weaken into a well marked low pressure area during next 12 hours. Rain occurred at isolated places in coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Rayalaseema, with Denkada in Vizianagaram district, receiving 19 cm of rainfall. The other amounts of rainfall (in cm) were: Cheepurupalli 12, Garividi 10, Pathapatnam 9.

On Monday, the maximum temperatures markedly rose at many places in coastal Andhra Pradesh, appreciably rose at one or two places in Telangana and rose at a few places in Rayalaseema. They were appreciably above normal at a few places in Telangana and markedly above normal at a few places in coastal AP and at one or two places in Rayalaseema. The highest maximum temperatures of 40 and 36 degrees Celsius were recorded in Ongole, Nalgonda and Nizamabad. The Met office on Tuesday forecast light to moderate rain or thundershowers at a few places in coastal AP, Telangana and Rayalaseema during the next three days.

In Hyderabad sky will be generally cloudy. Rain or thundershowers may occur in parts of the city.

The maximum and minimum temperatures will be around 34 and 24 degree Celsius respectively.
