Cricket match to be played on Nov. 30 to raise funds

Taking cue from Bollywood, which recently hosted a fundraiser for Jammu and Kashmir flood victims, Tollywood stars have decided to come together to help raise funds for Hudhud victims. While the former decided to hold stage shows across the country, Telugu film stars will raise funds by holding a cricket match. The event is scheduled to be held on November 30 at the Indira Gandhi Stadium, Vijayawada.

Tollywood Cricket Association (TCA) consisting stars like Allari Naresh, Tarun, Srikanth, Prince, Tanish, Shashank, Sameer, Naveen Chandra, Khayeem and others gave details about the cricket match.

Srikanth said, “TCA which till now organised cricket matches for entertainment, has decided to hold a match for relief victims.” Naresh said that the two teams would comprise popular Tollywood stars and the entire collections of the match would be donated to Hudhud cyclone victims. All the actors expressed shock at the destruction caused by Hudhud cyclone and expressed solidarity with the victims.
