Chandrababu Neglecting Farmers for Development. While Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has come in for severe criticism over highest number of farmer suicides since the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh, his AP counter part Chandrababu Naidu is also not spared.
Chandrababu's promise to make his capital another hi-tech city may have impressed investors a great beal however, farmers are not one bit pleased.
They are of the view that the AP Chief Minister's only aim is to snatch away their lands and show the world that he's a hi-tech CM. He's least bothered about the number of farmer suicides or other issues being faced by the farmers.
"Chandrababu is ignoring the basic needs of the farmers. If at all he holds talks with us, it would be to convince us to give our lands for AP capital. He will not ask us about the problems we are facing on a day-to-day basis."
The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister in his press meet today promised farmers that the land pooling will no way have an adverse effect on their livelihood. In fact he promised to double their income if they co-operated for building the AP capital. However, farmers are not convinced. Once bitten, twice shy seems to be their stand. They do not want to take any chance as agriculture is their only source of livelihood.

It now remains to be seen how Babu will convince them to part with their lands.
