Nara LokeshHyderabad: The police registered a case on Tuesday against TDP leader and son of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Lokesh over his tweets against Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao where he described the latter as ‘Hitler’.

L B Nagar police booked the case basing on a complaint filed by V Ramanarasimha Goud, president, TRS Vidyarthi Vibhagam (Ranga Reddy district) on November 15. A case under Sections 504 (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach), 505 (public mischief) and 66A of IT Act (punishment for sending offensive messages through communication service) was registered against Lokesh Naidu.

“We registered a case against Lokesh on Tuesday,” said E Srinivas Reddy, Inspector, L B Nagar.

On November 14, Lokesh had tweeted: “Revanth Reddy attacked by TRS goons. Government run by rowdies, Law & Order out of control. # HitlerCM is ruling!”

Meanwhile, reacting to another petition filed by the Telangana Advocates JAC in the Metropolitan Court II of Ranga Reddy, district judge sought an enquiry and asked the L B Nagar police to register a case under Sections 153A & 153B, 501, 295 and 120 – B of IPC.
