AP farmers refuse lands for capital

Vijayawada: Tulluru farmers while saying that they are not against the capital construction are also saying that they won’t allow the government to take away the lands that will allow them 3 different crop harvests per year.

The farmers organized a round table meet in the KL Rao Bhavan. As a part of the meet the farmers union leaders, politicians were also present at the table. The farmers are not showing any interest in the packages released by the government as the compensation for the acquired lands.
