The racket came to light when a woman was seen running out of the house in the morning, unable to bear the alleged torture of the gang operating the sex racket. A married woman with a three-year-old son, her body was full of injuries. She was confined in the premises and forced to entertain clients brought by the gang, local residents, who rescued her, said.

She was allegedly drugged, stripped and forced to have sex with customers. The victim said she did not know the whereabouts of either the husband, her son or parents. She was not even aware of the year 2014. A woman staying next door after hearing strange sounds and loud cries from the house informed the police, who not only saved the woman, but also arrested Srinivas and Laskhmi, after raiding another house. The duo was allegedly running the brothel.

The police took into custody two women who were found drugged. The victim told the police that she was brought by the duo to the house saying that there was a birthday party. Residents also confirmed that the sex racket was being operated from the premises for long. The woman was shifted to a hospital for treatment.

The constable when informed by the residents about the undesirable activities taking place in his house is said to have rudely remarked that he could do anything in his house as he wished. The residents demanded that the police investigate the case to identify the persons behind the sex racket.
