Around 660 students from 165 schools across Rajahmundry division took part in the preliminary quiz competition.

Rajahmundry: Three government schools – SKVT EM School, Rajahmundry (KVS Deekshith, PBK Reddy), ZPP High School, Vadisaleru (Surya Prakash, Devi Maheshwari), SKVT EM School, Rajahmundry (TNV Ganesh, KVVS Jayanth) and two private teams from Sri Gowthami Smart School (Satya Praneet, Pavan Kumar), Narayana IIT Olympaid (Akshara, Andrew Suraj) made it to the semi-finals of the fourth edition of the district-level quiz competition ‘Reliance Dhirubhai Ambani Quiz (RDAQ 2014) held at Anam Kalakendram at Rajahmundry in East Godavari district on Friday.

Around 660 students from 165 schools across Rajahmundry division took part in the preliminary quiz competition.

Rajahmundry Sub-Collector Vijay Rama Raju was the chief guest. He urged the students to utilise the platforms like the Reliance quiz and improve their general awareness skills. MR Abraham, DEO, and Turlapati Viswanath, Head – SCM, were present. ‘Young World’ national fame VV Ramanan was the quiz master.

In a gripping preliminary round, eight teams were selected in the written test. Based on the regional quiz, three teams from among the government schools and two from the private schools stream made it to the semi-finals.

The semi-finals and the grand finale will be held on December 26 at Rangaraya Medical College Auditorium, Kakinada.
