Addressing the gathering, former MP Chinta Mohan criticised the government for delay in the redemption of loans of SHG women groups which he said was causing hardship to poor women with the banks remaining reluctant in lending financial support due to uncertainty in the loan waiving.

Flaying Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, he said that he was spending most of his time on foreign jaunts and visits to Delhi to evade the people as he is afraid of facing them. Accusing Naidu of coming to power by making false promises, he said the day is not far away for the people to revolt against the TD government which failed in all fronts.

DCC president Venugopal Reddy said that district Congress will step up its campaign to expose the TDP as it did nothing in the native district of Chief Minister after it came back to power.

Local Congress leaders and others were present.
