Heavy rains lash Prakasam
Heavy rains continued to lash Prakasam district disrupting normal life for two days. Met officials predicted more rains in next 48 hours. Daily life was thrown out of gear in Ongole, with majority of roads being inundated. 4 cm of rain fall recorded in the district so far.

Heavy rains lashed 12 mandals in the district. Ulavapadu, Valletivari Palem, Singarayakonda, Gudlur, Ongole, Kandukur, Pamur, CS Puram, Ponnalur, Jarugumilli, Komarolu, Lingasamudram witnessed a downpour. Gusty winds in the chilly weather caused inconvenience to the people.
