South Central Railway (SCR) has announced that it would run six special trains between Secunderabad and Vijayawada and two AC superfast special trains between Secunderabad and Visakhapatnam. These special trains are introduced to clear extra rush of passengers during Christmas season.

Hyderabad: South Central Railway (SCR) has announced that it would run six special trains between Secunderabad and Vijayawada and two AC superfast special trains between Secunderabad and Visakhapatnam. These special trains are introduced to clear extra rush of passengers during Christmas season.

Between Secunderabad- Machilipatnam-Secunderabad, the SCR would run the following services:

Train No. 07050 Secunderabad-Machilipatnam special train will depart Secunderabad at 10:30 am on 14, 21 and 28 December, 2014 (Sundays) and reach Machilipatnam at 07:45 pm on the same day.

In the return direction, Train No. 07049 Machilipatnam-Secunderabad special train will depart Machilipatnam at 09:30 pm on 14, 21 and 28 December, 2014 (Sundays) and reach Secunderabad at 05:55 am the next day.

En route, these special trains will stop at Kazipet, Warangal, Mahbubabad, Khammam, Vijayawada, Gudivada, Gudlavalleru and Pedana stations in both directions. These special trains will have 18 coaches viz, one AC II Tier, one AC III Tier, eight Sleeper Class, six General Second Class and two Luggage cum Brake Van Coaches.

Similarly, between Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad, two AC superfast special trains will be run. Train No. 02728 Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam AC superfast special train will depart Secunderabad at 10:10 pm on 26 December, 2014 (Friday) and arrive Visakhapatnam at 10:35 am the next day. In the return direction, Train No. 02727 Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad AC Superfast special train will depart Visakhapatnam at 07:05 pm on 27th December, 2014 (Saturday) and arrive at Secunderabad at 07:50 am on the next day.

En route, these special trains will stop at Kazipet, Warangal, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Rajahmundry, Samalkot, Annavaram, Tuni, Anakapalli and Duvvada stations in both the directions. These special trains will have 17 coaches viz, one Ist AC, three AC II Tier, eleven AC III Tier and two Break Van cum Power Car coaches.
