JNTU-K awards Ph D to Murthy, Mazharunnisa

Kakinada (East Godavari): Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University-Kakinada (JNTU-K) has awarded two Doctor of Philosophy (Ph D) degrees to two associate professors.

GVK Murthy was given Ph D in Electrical and Electronics Engineering for the thesis on ‘Analysis of Impacts of Distributed Generation on Distribution Systems by using Artificial Bee Colony Algorithm’. He did his thesis under the guidance of Prof S Satyanarayana, Department of EEE and principal of VRS & YRN CET, Chirala, and Prof S Sivanaga Raju, Department of EEE, University College of Engineering, Kakinada. JNTU-K accepted his thesis on the recommendation of the panel of examiners. G V K Murthy has been provisionally declared qualified for the award of Ph D in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. He is currently working as Associate Professor in the EEE Department, SSN Engineering College, Ongole, Prakasam district.

The university also awarded Ph D to Mazharunnisa Begum in Management Studies for her thesis ‘A Study on Human Resource Management Practices in Vijayawada Thermal Power Station, Vijayawada’. She did her thesis under the guidance of Prof B Murali Krishna, director, Samata College, MVP Colony, Visakhapatnam, and P Vijay Kumar, former director, School of Management Studies, JNTU-K. Her thesis has been accepted by JNTU-K on the recommendation of the panel of examiners. Mazharunnisa Begum has been provisionally declared qualified for the award of Ph D in Management Studies. She is currently working as Assistant Professor in Management Studies, KBN College, PG Centre in Vijayawada.
