Painting contest on energy conservation

Srikakulam: A painting competition was held for the school students in connection with the ongoing ‘Energy Conservation Week’ celebrations here on Wednesday at Vidyut Bhavan.

On this occasion, electricity officials said that a few programmes were being taken up to bring awareness among the people on conservation of electricity.

The competition got a huge response from the students. Officials also said that the awareness programmes would be conducted in the rural areas.
