Visakhapatnam: A large crowd gathered for the Telugu Talli statue procession taken out on Beach Road from VUDA Park to Kali Mata temple here on Wednesday. The procession was organised by Paravastu Padya Peetham founder-president Paravastu Phanisayana Suri.
He said they would teach children Telugu poems. “Under the supervision of Garikapati Narasimha Rao, we will conduct Thiranaallu for three days and present gifts to the winners,” he said. Former professor of Andhra University Bodepudi Prasad Rao, Elamanchili Venkateswarulu, Atluri Venkata Lakshmi Narsimha Rao and writer Raja Hamsa participated.
