Metro from Vijayawada to Tullur

The landscape of Tullur is undergoing a lot of changes right after Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandra Babu Naidu announced Tullur as the new capital.

According to the latest reports, the AP Government is planning to extend Vijayawada metro to the new capital. Officials are planning to implement it in the second stage of metro project. More clarity will emerge once a master plan of the capital is ready.

In the first phase, two corridors will start from Pandit Nehru bus stand. Officials arrived at an initial decision that link to capital should be connected from here. As a part of it. a bridge will be constructed from bustand till Tadeplly over Krishna river.

From there around Seetanagaram hill, metro rail way will be constructed which will be extended to Tullur region. More clarity will be arrived when Singapore companies submit the master plan on stte capital.

Proposal to extend Eluru road corridor

Fist phase 13 KM Eluru road corridor will be extended to another 7 km till Gannavaram airport in the scond phase. In the second phase, this will be extended from Best Price showroom to Gannavaram Airport. The AP Government is planning to make metro rail beneficial as a network to Vijayawada, Guntur,Mangalagiri,Tenali and the state capital.

The Metro Railway station survey will be conducted soon. Already Topographical survey has been done. Consultancy for Delhi Metro Rail Corporation sent the survey. Sridharan, Metro Rail project advisor should give the green signal to it and then comprehensive survey will be conducted. Soil testing will be started in a day or two.
