PFC commits 123 crore for AP school toilets

Power Finance Corporation will finance the construction of 3,378 toilets in government schools under the ‘Swachh Bharat Swachh Vidyalaya Abhiyan’ through Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan. The estimated expense of this CSR initiative of PFC is Rs 123 crore

MK Goyal, chairman and managing director of Power Finance Corporation, handed over a cheque for Rs 5.8 crore to Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu in the presence of Education Minister Ganta Srinivasa, Hon'ble Minister for Education and AK Agarwal, director, Power Finance Corporation, on Thursday. This is the first installment out of a total of Rs 123 crore for constructing 3,378 toilets in Andhra Pradesh.
