Visakhapatnam: Officials of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB)caught Sub-Inspector G Rama Rao and a constable P Lakshmana Rao of Three Town police station,red-handed while accepting a bribe of Rs 1 lakh from a businessman on Thursday. The two were arrested. They will be produced in ACB court on Friday. ACB DSP M Narasimha Rao told the media that the SI had demanded Rs 1.5 lakh from Dinesh Modi of R K Family Shop, a clothier of the City, for not opening a rowdy-sheet against him and his brother Rajkumar Modi and to give station bail in a case registered against them. Later, a deal was struck for Rs 1 lakh. Dinesh approached the ACB officials who laid a trap under the supervision of the DSP.
