New Delhi/Hyderabad: Allocation of All India Service (AIS) officers between Telangana and Andhra Pradesh has been completed. The provisional lists prepared by Pratyush Sinha Committee on October 10 have been approved by the PMO. Accordingly, AP has got 166 IAS officers and Telangana 128. Similarly, 119 IPS officers are allotted to AP and 92 to Telangana. While 76 IFS officers are made available for AP, Telangana has got 51 officers.

All of them have been asked to join duty within 15 days. After publishing the list, they would be given 15 days again to indicate whether they would like to shift. While giving such option, the officer concerned would have to indicate whether he/she is seeking the change on the basis of marriage grounds or for any other reason.
