Vijayawada: Good news for Andhra Pradesh government. The central government seems to agree to the outer ring road proposal.
According to the sources, the Central government responded favorably towards the state government’s important proposal of 180 kilometer outer ring road (ORR) project around the proposed capital city area in Vijayawada.
The estimated budget for the proposal seems to be Rs 19,700 crore.The union minister for road and transport highways and shipping, Nitin Gadkari acknowledged that his ministry may consider the proposal for financial assistance of the project.
Vijayawada MP Kesineni Nani released minister Gadkari’s letter to the media here on Sunday. The state government had submitted the estimations and proposals to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for financial assistance.
