Two 12th century idols of Narasimha Swamy and a warrior were found in the town on Monday while digging was on in a mud wall of Kotaveedhi. Idols resembling Lord Siva and Goddess Parvati, stated to be about 400 years old, were unearthed when digging for the extension of the national highway using a proclain was on.

Idols resembling Lord Siva and Goddess Parvati, stated to be about 400 years old, were unearthed when digging for the extension of the national highway using a proclain was on. The four idols were shifted to the Kanaparthi Museum by the Archaeology department officials.
