Sudden blaze in Penumaka, Rayapudi, Undavalli, Lingayapalem, Uddandar-ayunipalem and Mandamon of Tadepalli and Thulluru mandals destroyed fodder, banana plantations and bamboo stocks. The area is spread over 10 square kilometres, it is learnt.

Farmers cried foul saying it was a deliberate attempt by the TDP government to destroy their crops for refusing to abide by the government's order.
