Prajavani, a weekly programme for solving people’s grievances, will be conducted through online in 46 mandals of West Godavari district henceforth.

No leave for officials on the day of weekly programme

Eluru (West Godavari): Prajavani, a weekly programme for solving people’s grievances, will be conducted through online in 46 mandals of West Godavari district henceforth.

District Collector Katamaneni Bhaskar on Monday monitored the pace of the programme at mandal offices online from the Collectorate on an experimental basis.

Later, he said that the programme would be conducted online after making it foolproof. “The number of people visiting the district Collectorate from various parts of the district seeking solution to their grievances can be reduced if focus is on solving their problems at the mandal-level itself. It will help save valuable time and energy of people besides transport charges,” he said.

The Collector said that officials of all the departments concerned should attend the programme without fail with all relevant information. Leave would not be granted to any official on the day of Prajavani programme, he said.

Additional Joint Collector Sharif, District Revenue Officer K Prabhakar Rao and other officials attended the programme.
