Youth arrested for Facebook fraud
A high-tech scam was brought out by the police in Ongole. A youth created contacts with prominent figures via Facebook and promised them fancy mobile numbers. He collected lacs of rupees from the victim and scammed them.

Surprisingly there are assembly leaders, ex-MLAs, Industrialists in the list of scammed victims. Chirala police arrested this culprit on Saturday.
The police announced brought the accused infront of the media on saturaday and announced the list of crime perpetrated by the culprit.
The list of prominent that were scammed:
1. Aamanchi Krishna Mohan ( Chirala MLA)
2. Dama Charla Janardhan (Ongole MLA)
3. Bodde Prasad
4. Gopal puram MLAs
5. Nellore Ex- MLA Aanam Vivekanada Reddy’s personal assistant
