Guntur: A youth of Munagapaadu village in Firangipuram Mandal allegedly poured kerosene on a married woman and set her ablaze for declining to fulfil his sexual demands. The incident occurred on Sunday morning when she went out on an errand. The youth named Shafi was accused of harassing her for four months.
Her screams for help drew the attention of people nearby who came and put off the flames. The Local people immediately informed the police, who in turn, rushed to the place and admitted her to Government Hospital. The accused is absconding.
