Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday hosted an interactive session between industrialists and a visiting Singapore business delegation as part of his government’s policy to promote Visakhapatnam as investment destination.

The local investors should network with the members of the visiting delegation to be able to leverage the technological advantage of the industries in the City Nation, he said, while addressing the local investors. The city has an advantage to become a major logistics hub and there was a scope for investment in the sector, Visakhapatnam Port Trust Chairman M T Krishna Babu said.
Praising the people of the city for their courage in bouncing back from the devastation caused by Hudhud, Singapore Minister for Trade and Industry S Iswaran said there was immense potential in India in the manufacturing sector. It was only a beginning. “We will visit the city many times,” he said. He said Singapore was preparing master plan for the new capital of Andhra Pradesh the international finance agency would deal with the local industries in finalising joint ventures.
