Prakasam woman commits suicide in US, dowry harassment the cause?
In an unfortunate incident a 42-year-old woman committed suicide in doubtful circumstances. According to the reports, the victim is from Prakasam, a homeopathy doctor, allegedly committed suicide in California recently.

On the other hand, her family members are suspecting that her husband’s harassment might have forced her to take this extreme step. Donapati Padmasri from Ardaveedu mandal had married D. Nandakishore Reddy of Giddalur, a software engineer working in California, in 1999.
According to the family, the victim’s family had given Rs 10 lakh as dowry at the time of marriage but Mr Nandakishore had allegedly been harassing his wife for more dowries for a while.
The family also alleged that Mr Nandakishore Reddy was having an extramarital affair and had been pressurizing Padmasri for a divorce.
Her body arrived at Giddalur for the funeral on Monday where the final ritual were concluded.
