IT Raids on Agri Gold Offices. Income Tax officials on Thursday conducted raid on the main office of Agri Gold Group of Companies here. The officials, who started verifying the office records at 9.30 am, continued it till 6.30 pm and seized several documents.
Vijayawada: Income Tax officials on Thursday conducted raid on the main office of Agri Gold Group of Companies here. The officials, who started verifying the office records at 9.30 am, continued it till 6.30 pm and seized several documents.
The second team of IT officials took over the verification of records after the first team left. The verification is still continuing when the last reports came in.
Simultaneous IT raids were also conducted on the house of Agri Gold chairman Avva Venkata Seshu Narayana Rao at Satyanarayanapuram locality and its offices in Eluru and Hyderabad. The IT officials conducted the raids under police protection.
