Tirupathi by-elections: YSRCP returns TDP's favour

The YSR Congress Party has decided not to field its candidate in the upcoming by election in Tirupathi. The YSRCP has taken this conscious decision to stay out of the race as a mark of respect to late MLA Ramana Reddy who passed away.

YSRCP leader Bhumana Karunakar announced the decision after a meeting with party chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and other party senior leaders from Tirupathi.

The TDP finance minister Yanamala Ramakrishnna and others requested us not to field our candiate in Tirupathi as they did not field thier candidate in the Allagadda by elections. so we decided not to field YSRCP candidatethere," said YSRCP leader Bhuma Karunkar Reddy said.
