Only AP likely to submit ARR today
Uncertainty still is looming large on the submission of Annual Revenue Requirements (ARRs), including power tariff hike proposals, to the Electricity Regulatory Commission by the Telangana government. While, the AP government is likely to file the ARRs before the Commission on Saturday, Telangana Discoms are yet to get the nod from the Chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao to submit the ARRs to the Commission.
Hyderabad: Uncertainty still is looming large on the submission of Annual Revenue Requirements (ARRs), including power tariff hike proposals, to the Electricity Regulatory Commission by the Telangana government. While, the AP government is likely to file the ARRs before the Commission on Saturday, Telangana Discoms are yet to get the nod from the Chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao to submit the ARRs to the Commission.
The two Commissions ( APERC and TSERC) set Saturday as deadline to the two governments. TSSPDCL Chairman and Managing Director G Raghuma Reddy said that the Discom was waiting for the government’s green signal. The AP authorities said the government asked AP Discoms to submit the proposals to the APERC. However, the utilities were asked to contact the higher authorities before submitting the ARRs on the last day.
